Take a picture in low light.
The picture below is from the Relay for Life walk I participated in last year and the year before.
If you have a camera that lets you change your settings, you can do the following:
- Raise your ISO (find the spot where you are happy with the level of “noise”)
- Watch your shutter speed (1/125 stops motion and avoids camera shake)
- Wide apertures (small f/ numbers) let more light in but have less in focus, back away from your subject to get more in focus
If not, don’t worry. My picture was taken with my iPhone and is quite impressive.
