CTMH Art Philosophy Cartridge Review – Part 1

I was very lucky to receive the Art Philosophy cartridge by Close to My Heart from Darla Haverstock and Lucy Kelleher, two CTMH consultants in Canada and the U.S. respectively.
Their button is in my sidebar, but I am copying it below as well so that you can order from them. The picture shows you everything included in the Art Philosophy bundle.

They are very active on their blogs and in their Facebook groups constantly showing wonderful projects you can make with these gorgeous products.
Their Facebook groups are:
Be sure to check out their blogs because they will each be giving away a copy of my Gypsy screens.
I keep saying that I wish I could sell CTMH products in Québec, but they are not available here. I hope they will be here one day because I absolutely love their products. If you live anywhere else in Canada, you are in luck!!!!
Darla and Lucy didn’t only send me the cartridge package (which includes 3 beautiful stamp sets and packages of chipboard pieces as shown above), but also some beautiful papers, inks and embellishments. The paper collection I received was the Pemberley collection and I just LOVED it!! The colours are a beautiful combination of yellow, blue, cream and kraft.
I created a 2-page layout with pictures from my brother’s wedding with these papers and the AP cartridge.
The banner, flowers and letters were cut with the Art Philosophy cartridge.
Just look at the papers … they are just gorgeous!!!
I ran all the letters through my Cuttlebug and then put Glossy
Accents on them to give them more dimension and shine.
The little rose in the middle of the flower was one of the
embellishments I received. The stamp is included in the AP
bundle and I cut the shape of the flower from the AP cartridge.
Just a bit more detail from the papers up close.
This is a fabulous cartridge in so many ways. You can use it for special occasions, to make cards, Christmas decorations, banners, embellishments, frames, ribbon pulls, mini albums, flowers, flourishes, Borders, lace or doilies, page backgrounds, three-dimensional flowers, and so much more.
There is a basic font and a more elegant font.
Since stamps are also part of the bundle, I also wanted to tell you a bit about the stamps. They are very high-quality acrylic stamps and are designed to fit the Cricut cuts. The size for the Cricut cuts are printed right beside the stamp in the packaging. My favorite of the three stamp sets include journaling blocks. I am not crazy about making cards — I much prefer making layouts (traditional, Project Life and SMASH albums). This is why I prefer the journaling stamps.
The second set contains Christmas images and sentiments and a third set contains stamps that can be used for a birthday or other parties.
CTMH always has some sort of a special going on so you can usually get additional stamp sets at special prices.
One of the things I really appreciate about CTMH is that the prices are very reasonable. I have purchased other products from other companies and found the prices very high in comparison.

I still have some of the beautiful papers left over so I will be making more projects with those and definitely more projects with this cartridge

  1. I LOVE this page and would love to win this cartridge. I am going to have to get in touch with my friend who sells CTMH and get these papers! Love them! Thanks for sharing.

  2. I bought the art philosophy bundle several month's ago & love it! I love the coordinating stamps ( I bought several more beyond what came in the bundle). They are high quality stamps that give crisp impressions. Buying this cartridge saved me some money because I no longer needed the flower shop cartridge as there are a variety of rolled flower cuts. Great tags & borders. No one would be dissappointed with this cartridge!

  3. Love this cart it is one of my favorites and I was very lucky someone sent it to me as I live in New Zealand. love the pics of the carts. I started doing this with the whole books but there got to be too many books.

  4. Wish I could afford this cartridge have seen many things done with it. On my wishlist for sometime though. Thanks for sharing.angel hugsDebby

  5. I'm now convinced that I would really like to buy this cartridge. I love the designs on it, esp the 3D , and I love that the stamps are included for some of the images. Def gonna have to check that out ! Also love your gypsy screens. I love my gypsy and your screens would only make an awesome product even better!

  6. BJ thanks for your comment. Just want to point out that the giveaway is for the gypsy screens that Karin sells and not the cartridge unfortunately. Make sure you leave a comment on mine and Lucy's blogs too for 2 chances to win the gypsy screens. 🙂 thanks for the kind comment.

  7. Love my AP Bundle and Lucy and Darla AND Karin and of course CTMH ! I've bought from other companies, even some wood blocks yet, but I am hooked on all the creativity that flows from CTMH and its consultants – and the papers and embellies and every other doodaddy all coordinate so well. I feel like a lucky girl. Don't know diddly about Gypsy or screens, but if I was to win a screen, I have craft buddies who would enjoy a gift !

  8. Very nice layouts – the Gypsy video was grand as well – I would love to win the cartridge – thanks for providing this give away ~ enjoy your week! Gail
