I am SOOOOO excited to announce that I now have my own web site with a fun new look.
All of my crafting posts will now be on this site, including KNK design team projects, Cameo projects and Cricut projects. I will inform you about videos I have produced and anything else that might be of interest to you.
Please come and have a look and please subscribe. I will no longer be publishing to this blog.
My gorgeous new site is at ScrappyDIVAblog.com
If you’re interested in having a really beautiful site that is easy to manage and with FANTASTIC support, I strongly suggest that you get in touch with outstandingSETUP. I learned about them when I saw Cara Miller’s site and asked her about the company. She told me they were wonderful and took care of everything for her very quickly. No kidding!!! I signed up Monday and everything was ready for me to use within 24 hours. They have helped me fine tune it and I absolutely LOVE my site.
I worked on this layout at an all day crop yesterday. We have this crop monthly in a huge Golden Age Club where we have so much room, we could each have two tables of our own. It’s absolutely my favourite crop location.
The layout is from a camping trip my husband and I went on with my brother and his family to celebrate his birthday in 2011.
We had just gotten Percy, our Cocker Spaniel a couple of weeks before the trip so we were brand new dog owners at the time. He will turn 2 this month. How time flies!!
I used the Cricut Campin’ Critters cartridge to cut out the tree.
Discovered a very inspiring site for daily photo ideas at http://captureyour365.com/category/365/
If you would like to receive daily inspirations from Katrina’s site, just sign up for her daily e-mails. I think she does a much better job of this and will leave the daily photo ideas to her — she is a professional photographer and I will be following her too!
I’m cleaning up and you’re benefitting.
I have decided to do some giveaways on my YouTube Channel to attract new subscribers.
Below are pictures of some of the stuff I am giving away, but be sure to watch my latest video to see everything in detail.
Just remember that you must be a subscriber to my YouTube Channel to be in the draw and for me to contact you about sending your prize.
Good luck everybody!!!
I have been busy learning Final Cut Pro X and have successfully uploaded my first video after editing in this new environment. I still have a lot to learn, but I can see that it is a wonderful piece of software. Maybe it’s because I have already done some video editing work, but I did not find it hard to get started.
Anyway, the reason for this post is to show you a card I made for a swap on Swap Bot and the video shows you how I used an image from the Silhouette on-line store, adapted it to suit my needs to make my card.
Here is the final result.
You can watch my video below. Note that this video only shows you some very basic functions for changing shapes. I will post more advanced functions in the future.
Changing images in Silhouette Studio
Take pictures of circular things.
Take a picture of something you absolutely HATE doing.
I hate working on GST returns!
Take a picture of something you made today.
Take a picture of a project you would like to make.
This project was mentioned in my Cricut Craft Room Users group on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/groups/CCRusers/ and the blog with the instructions for this adorable project is at http://papercookies.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/category/keurig-k-cup-projects/
The Keurig box was made by Diane Zechman (as shown in the watermark) — I just want to give credit where it’s due.
I had to spend a few minutes this morning just checking out all the amazing projects. I think I will need another lifetime after mine to make all the beautiful projects I have seen (and to use up all my stuff).
Choose a recurring theme for your Project Life album and take pictures of your theme throughout the year. This could be teddy bears, hearts, stars, geotag shapes, or whatever you like.
I have been using lots of hearts in my album.
